Great success in Poland

Well, we didn't win... But what a great success! We were voted No1 by the backup jury with people from the music business and also we were voted no 1 by the eurovision fans (OGAE) of Poland and got a diploma. Now there is a tour in the summer and maybe some more TV this spring.
Can't wait to get back to Poland again!

Flying down to Poland

Today Charizma is flying down to Poland to prepare for the ESC qualifications on Saturday night. The band will also do two TV shows on friday. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Charizma releases Remixes of "Emily"

In the week before the ESC 2007 qualifications in Poland, Charizma will be releasing several remixes to radio and on the Internet.
One remix was done by Swedish artist Erik Augustsson, the man behind Ultrabeat, one of the leading Christian dance acts. Another remix was done by Charizma singer Johan Mauritzson, a faster dance version with some 80's elements.

Charizma among the favorites

These are exciting times indeed. Polls on a few Polish Eurovision sites indicate that Charizma are among the favorites, ranking 1st and 2nd!
We are thrilled to see the response to the song and can't wait to get to Warzaw to compete.
Also the video for Emily has been viewed more than 3500 times on MySpace and YouTube.

"Emily" - recording finished

Busy days for the band... The recording of "Emily" is almost done, and the track should be mastered in the next couple of days.
It will then be published for you guys to hear! A video is also in the works for the song.
There's been quite a few interviews and articles in Swedish newspapers about Charizma competing in Poland, seems to be a great interest in the event.

Charizma to compete in Polish Eurovision Song Contest!

Exciting news! Charizma has been selected to compete in the Polish Eurovision Song Contest eliminations. There are ten contestants and the TV-show will be watched by over 10 million people. Even though Charizma is a Swedish band, nowadays you can compete for any european country. The song is called "Emily" and is a fun uptempo song, with a Charizma trademark catchy melody.
The winner of will be representing Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland in May 2007. This event has appr 1 billion viewers.... Wish us luck! More news about this event to come.
